​1. Booking Confirmation & Deposits

​A booking is officially confirmed once a written agreement has been reached and any agreed deposit (e.g., 25%–50%) has been paid.

​Deposits secure the date and are non-refundable unless DJ Shay Official cancels the booking.

​2. Balance & Payments

​The remaining balance must be cleared either in advance or on the day of the event prior to performance, as agreed in writing.

​Accepted payment methods include bank transfer or agreed cash arrangements.

​3. Venue & Technical Requirements

​The client or venue organizer agrees to provide:

​A safe, dry, and sheltered performance area with adequate cover from adverse weather (for outdoor events).

​A stable, safe, and earthed standard 230V mains electrical supply located within reasonable distance of the setup.

​Reasonable access to the venue prior to the start time for equipment load-in and sound check, as well as time for pack-down after the set.

​4. Equipment Safety & Behavior

​The client is responsible for ensuring guests behave in a safe manner around all DJ equipment, speakers, lighting, and cables.

​Any damage caused to DJ equipment by guests, spills, or rough handling during the event remains the financial responsibility of the client.

​DJ Shay Official reserves the right to suspend or terminate a performance immediately without refund if behavior from the crowd or attendees poses a direct threat to personal safety or equipment.

​5. Cancellations

​Client Cancellation: If the client cancels with less than 14 days' notice, the agreed deposit remains forfeit.

​DJ Cancellation: In the rare event that DJ Shay Official must cancel due to illness or circumstances beyond reasonable control, all deposits will be returned in full, and reasonable efforts will be made to recommend an alternative local DJ.
